I like that this Winning Naturals astaxanthin contains 10 mg/serving, and if you do take it twice daily, there are enough for a month in the bottle. This softgel form is easy for me to swallow.

Been taking these supplements for some time now and don’t have really anything bad to say or anything negative! These have been working great for me so far and good for a daily regimen of supplements! Overall, the benefits are there and would recommend these!
I am a firm believer in supplements for myself since I don’t always eat they way we should. I had never heard of Astaxanthin until I saw it on Amazon Vine and read that it supports eyes, skin and joints. Who doesn’t need to support those 3 important things? I certainly do. At my age my eyes are getting tired, my skin is dry from too much bathing and sun, and my joints are requiring a lot of attention. I am excited to see what benefits these capsules will provide.
The only surprise was when I opened the bottle, it seemed like it was not right. The bottle is a good size and the gel capsules are just at the bottle quarter, it literally is only a quarter full. I didn’t dump them all out to count them but I’m assuming there are 60 like the bottle says. They are fairly small so they are easy to swallow. They are made in the USA so I feel confident that this is a good product.
This astaxanthin supplement from Winning Naturals is working out well for me. I like to take a good-sized dose each day, so I like that each caplet contains 10 mg, rather than 3 or 4 like some other brands. I have been taking astaxanthin for a few years now, for eyes, skin and my brain, and have found that the larger dose seems to work well for me, so 10mg is great for me. These caplets are small, dark red (nearly black) and easy to swallow, so they are similar in size and color to other brands I’ve used. They are tiny which makes them extremely easy to swallow and they have no odor or taste.
This bottle contains 60 caplets, and since I take one per day, it will last me two months. According to the bottle, these contain “no salt, dairy, egg, yeast, wheat, gluten or tree nuts” and they are non-GMO. Winning Naturals is a USA company but the bottle doesn’t mention where these supplements are made or from where the algae is sourced. The listing says these are “formulated” in the USA but I’m not sure exactly what that means. I did just a little bit of research and it seems it does mean “made” in the USA but I wish I knew for sure.
Overall, I am pleased with these astaxanthin supplements. It can be difficult to judge supplements because it takes a long time for them to work and to see changes, and some changes are difficult to measure at all. But I have been taking astaxanthin for a few years and do not intend on stopping because I am hopeful of gaining long-term benefits.
