Considering diabetic lancets, I have found these to be among the best. I test 3-6 times a day and use the 33 gauge. VERY little discomfort, if any. The only downside- they only come in clear which blends in with any surface. It is extremely easy to misplace the cap, etc. I’ve started using small ramiken to hold my alcohol wipe and the lancet cap. The company REALLY needs to address this. I’ve had them roll off the counter and then stepped on it, twisting my ankle.

I have 3 different lancet devices and all came with 30g lancet. No matter which lancet I use I go “ouch” everytime. I’ve been using these since 2020 and the low and medium settings I barely feel the prick. I do get lancets, which are 100% covered by my diabetes program but I donate them and buy these 33g Agamatrix for my personal use. Also, they come with a top so whenever I change my lancet on the device I can use the cover from the unused one I’m about to put on my device and to cover the lancet I’m tossing. The free ones provided to me have a twist off and won’t stay on. That’s another reason to love these. Fit great in all 3 lancet devices. Universal

My mom had a hard time finding the “name brand” lancet that this copies. I found these for her and ordered her a box. They were much cheaper than she had been paying for the other brand. She liked them and asked me to buy more. She was running out of them, so I have ordered her yet another supply of them. She is very happy with this exact style of lancet. They are definitely not the cheapest. There are much cheaper alternatives per piece. For some reason, she likes these because they have the little “cap” that goes back over them when used. I guess that is a concern for her. No sharp, open points when done or need for a “biohazard/sharps bucket” every where she goes. The cap covers the lancet so she can just throw it away. I think that is her reasoning. Either way, these are the cheapest of this style that I have found. Good, consistent quality. I will probably be buying more when she runs out again.

I used to use BD lancets until they became unavailable! Perfect fit for my lancing device. As close as possible to painless sticks! So very happy to have found these lancets! VERY happy with this purchase & will definitely order more in support of small business!

These are the BEST lancets I’ve used and I’ve used MANY different brands. So why are these better than most others? Well, the biggest key is that the cover does NOT touch the actual needle!! This is very important for two reasons. First, obviously you do not want to contaminate the needle. The chances are very low that it will be, but it is something else that is touching the needle.
But second and what I believe is most important is that because the needle is not touching, it will not bend the needle when you pull the cover off (unless you actually touch it!) The needle is very thin at 33 gauge so it will be very easy to bend it. What will a bent needle cause? PAIN! So with all of the other brands who cover is in contact with the needle, the chances for you bending it upon removal of the cover are much higher! That is enough for me to spend extra money on a product, but this product is actually LESS than most other ones – including all of the ones who’s cover touches the needle. I know BD ‘s lancets are like this, but they are WAAAY too expensive!
There is only one very small gripe I have about it, but it is part of the price you pay to make sure the needle would be sterile. It is a bit difficult to remove the cover, but that just means a better seal. I found that pulling the cover up just an eighth of an inch will be enough to let you be able to pull it off easily after you load it into your lancing device.
I’ve bought many boxes of these and will not be buying any other!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
