   Love the eucalyptus scent. It smells similar to Vix vapor rub. We use this ointment for colds to muscles aches and aching feet rubs. I like using just a little bit under my nose at night, it helps me breath better. The price was also reasonable. Will buy this again.

   Mediocre at best. I guess you get what you pay for here. The menthol smell out of this is significantly less strong that many of the brands out there and what I’ve saved on price, I’ve spent on the amount used. So no, I don’t consider it a very good value, given my purpose in buying it.

   That said, I’ve only used this in a vaporizer and that’s the only thing I wanted it for. I have never used such things for itch relief so I can’t comment there whether it relieves that, though the consistency and feel is about the same.

   I had a case of nail fungus on my great toe nail which was being treated by a podiatrist via a prescription of ciclopirox topical solution (basically its like nail polish applied daily and removed once a weak) and had been using such for about 9 months without results.

   A friend tells me to try Vicks Vapo Rub on the nail by covering/smothering the nail with the rub, putting a sock over the coated nail, then and go about your day. Repeat each day and reapply in the evening before bed as well. After just two days the excess keratin on the nail was able to be removed easily with a simple scraping by a finger nail. While the nail under the removed keratin does still have a slightly discolored yellow appearance, the nail is firm, hard and is clearly in much better shape than 9 months of prescription while being treated with ciclopirox. Go figure! I will continue the process for a while (I was told to try for about 3 weeks).

   I bought the Amazon Basics version of the Vicks product due to the lower cost but with the same active ingredients.
