Extremely disappointed in the way this product (Auraglow 35% carbamide peroxide whitening pen) arrived to my doorstep. I was very excited to try this product out. After researching the product on line it appeared to have sold reviews and seemed to be among the whitening products that actually work. So I couldn’t wait to try. I paid extra for next day shipping, it arrived the next day at 9am. I picked it up off my porch with in 60 seconds of it being dropped off. First appearance of it , the sticker seal was opened on one end. And when I opened the actual pen it was leaking a ton of the whitening serum inside of the cap. Because of the leak the bristles on the brush were sticky, hard, and dried out. It’s completely unusable, and wasted at least half of the gel. My one star rating is solely based on the way the pen was shipped and how it arrived to me. It does not reflect on weather or not the whitening pen actually works or not. Because I have no idea as I can’t actually use mine. Maybe if Auraglow makes it right by making me whole I will consider deleting this review. And leaving one on an actual product review. Right now I’m just really mad. Paid extra for next day shipping for a product that I’m not even able to use.

I waited to review this product until I’d seen my dentist, who gave me the thumbs up and assured me that I hadn’t harmed my enamel or anything else by using this pen. 🙂 I purchased the pen about 2 weeks before my regular 6-month cleaning appointment and used it as directed…well, less than directed. I’m in my mid-fifties, and my teeth were stained from a LOT of coffee through the decades. They had a yellowish cast to them and were darker towards my gums. I wasn’t after paper-white teeth or that weird bluish-white color; I just wanted them to be their natural ivory again, without the discoloration towards the base. This product really delivered. I saw a noticeable lessening of the yellowy tinge and the stains after the first use. By the third use, all stains (ALL) were just gone. My teeth were a healthy ivory again and the color was consistent all the way to the gum line. I didn’t experience any burning or irritation at all on my gums, but I can’t speak for someone else’s sensitivity. The pen is crazy simple to use: A couple of turns of the clicky base, paint your tooth/teeth, and done. No trays. No light. No strips. I especially liked the precise nature of the little brush: Once I was happy with my teeth overall, I concentrated on just painting my canines (which were a little darker than the rest of my teeth). It evened them out beautifully. Note(s): This gel is clear and so is the brush, so don’t make the mistake of thinking that there’s no gel on your brush and get all click-happy. Give it a second to coat the brush before you rotate the base too many times and end up with a big old glob on the brush. Also, as my dentist pointed out to me, my happiness with the pen was because I wasn’t expecting blinding white teeth. I just wanted the stains gone, which it did thoroughly and easily. I didn’t even use the pen twice daily for 2 weeks: I felt like great results were achieved after just a few days. If my teeth start to get discolored again, I’ll use the brush again for touch-ups. I don’t expect that as I’m using a whitening OTC rinse now which seems to work just fine for “maintenance.” Excellent product at an affordable price!
These work pretty well – not a WOW but not bad either. They will cause a bit of gum irritation but it isn’t bad. They don’t seem to last very long.
Compared to all the other teeth whitening pens I’ve tried, this one is the best. It has 9% Hydrogen Peroxide in it which quickly aides in the whitening process. I’ve experienced no sensitivity nor is there an after taste with this product. Plus it’s made in the U.S.A! Can’t beat that!
I am disappointed with the result of the product. at first glance, it does not look to be sealed and half of the product does not exist. For the result then I did not notice anything different !!!

I had seen a picture of me taken a month ago and good heavens my teeth were so dull with like a gray tint..I’m 75 and knew I needed to do something. So I ordered it, but didn’t give it much hope so I just set it aside. Until last night. I was going out to dinner and I looked in the mirror and thought…OH I have got to try that whitening pen. I did and I am not exaggerating….I could NOT believe it and neither could my husband.
So quick and easy…results I would expect after hundreds of dollars in whitening procedures from the dentist. I could sell this product door to door and make a fortune! I just did it again and looked in the mirror and WOW…just 2 times now and one minute each time brought my teeth up to probably 3 shades.
It worked for me…and I will order this for the rest of my life. Good Luck to you…Taste is fine and smile is bright again. I am so excited. I thought it was a lost cause. I have such sensitive teeth, but had no problem at all. Highly recommend! PS I am addicted to Vaping and Diet Coke…got rid of stains.
Edited to add: I was not happy that their was not enough in the pen to make it cost effective for me. I used it a handful of times, but then nothing came out of the pen. Very disappointed in that…sigh
