   These tongue cleaner and flosser combos are very useful. I did have to bite the little spheres to get the freshener to release. It’s very minty and left my mouth feeling fresh. I have very tightly packed teeth so flossers must be built sturdy for me to use on multiple teeth. These are good to have on hand to use between brushing.

   I am not sure why this product breaks into two discreet items. Putting a joint in the middle allows them to break apart when you don’t want them to. The extra reach when they are connected makes them slightly more usable. I say slightly, because even when reach isn’t an issue, the two parts don’t work well for me. I use GUM brand floss sticks all the time. They work great. This brand seems to get caught in my teeth and stretch or tear before I’m done. And the tongue scraper only works for me when I use the non flavor side. But it doesn’t work as well as other brands I have used. To top it all off the whole kit only has 15 items in it. Most other standalone products I use come in 60 or 120 packs for a similar price. I’m gonna stick with the dedicated alternatives instead.

   These cleaings brand tongue brushes are handy. Just bite down to release the minty freshness from the beads and brush on your tongue with the brush side and then the scraper size. The minty flavor is strong and made my mouth feel cool and refreshed for quite a while. They come in a clear plastic box with a snap lid top. The flosser end can be removed and has a pick on the other end. Its nice because if you just wanted to freshen with the brush end but didn’t need a floss, you can remove the flosser and put it back in the box for when you do need it, discarding just the brush when you are done. There are only 15 of these in the box, so if this is something you plan to need occasionally they are handy I could justify the price. If it is something you need daily or multiple times a day, i would say for the $10 price, that you just bring a toothbrush with you, get some gum or see if these sell something like this in more of a bulk amount. Overall good product to have for freshening your mouth when you’re away from your typical dental care products.

   Nice transparent case holds 15 tongue-scraping flossers. I used the double-flosser first, and had a little trouble because my teeth are tight and the floss didn’t move well (unlike a waxed floss) between my teeth.

   The tongue-scraper is two-sided. The entire device is a hard plastic. One side has 2 freshening gel beads and is the “brush” portion of this device. The other side is a scraper, and has hard ridges (blades) designed to really scrape the tongue. I had just drank a cup of coffee and wanted to freshen up, so I grabbed one of these. I bit down into the gel beads to release the freshener, feeling them “pop” as I bit into them. It released the freshener, and I just simply brushed up and down the length of my tongue. I then turned it over to use the scraper and scraped my tongue a few times. Next I took a sip of water to rinse my mouth (per the instructions on the package).

   The brush and scraper did pull a lot of coffee residue off of my tongue. The mint flavor stayed in my mouth for a couple of minutes before dissipating. I did not brush for the recommended 1-2 minutes and that might have affected the minty effects. My tongue does feel clean but I also feel like my tongue was overly abraded. In the future, I will take care with how intensely I use the scraper to not feel this discomfort to this same degree.

   Since it travels well, it can be used in a variety of ways and settings – just remember that you will need a little water to rinse your mouth, and the scraper can be a little severe.

   Hard plastic bristles hurts gums and teeth. Just rub any hard plastic on your teeth and that’s what it’s like. Not pleasant, doesn’t clean teeth, not worth any money.

   I keep these in my purse and in the car because I always feel like I want to floss after eating food or popcorn. I hand them out to my friends too when they need them and they always love them. My husband has become quite the fan also.
