   As you can see in my pictures, there is quite a bit of information on this bottle.

   The main ingredients:
   magnesium glycinate includes amino acid glycine.
   Magnesium gluconate contains gluconic acid, a natural compound that is noncorrosive, nontoxic and less irritating than other acids.
   Magnesium malate is a chemical compound that consists of magnesium and malic acid.
   All three are chelated, which is a good thing. A very good thing.

   I’ve only been taking this magnesium a short time. However, I have a very, very sensitive stomach and so far, so good.
   They aren’t as large as a different capsule that I take. But they aren’t small either.

   I do recommend these for two reasons:
   1. I’ve not had any issues or side effects with these capsules.
   2. The compound magnesium is chelated.
   These reasons get a five rating from me.

   No side effects or stomach issues. Easy to swallow. Solid ingredients and no fillers. Magnesium supplement that helps bedtime

   I ordered this supplement because it seemed like a quality product with excellent ingredients. That might be, but I was very disappointed that the product that I received was compromised. When I took it out of the package I noticed that the outer safety seal was not intact. The seal was secure to the bottle cap, but it was completely loose from the body of the bottle. In fact the cap came off with a slight twist. It has the child safety mechanism where you have to press down to open the cap, but this cap came off with about one turn of the cap without having to press it down. When I took the cap of the inner safety seal was also not intact. It was about 2/3 unsealed. There was only about 1/3 of the inner seal that was secured to the bottle. It doesn’t look like the cotton in the bottle was removed, but I couldn’t be sure. I also noticed that on the sticky side of the outer safety seal that it looked like a hair was stuck on it. I took the outer safety seal off from the cap and noticed a second hair. I can’t be certain it was a human hair, but it was black and almost two inches long and had the thickness of a human hair. Obviously I could not trust taking this supplement as it was clear that something was wrong. There was no evidence that this could have occurred during shipment. It was either poor quality control from the manufacturer, or someone tampered with the product at a later time. I was looking forward to trying this product. I decided to give it three stars as this could be a one time occurrence and I is probably a fine product, but I did not feel safe taking it.

   Okay, so we all take magnesium daily in this household so we have tried a lot. First thing I look for is that the label tells me the actual amount elemental magnesium. Most supplements only list the milligrams of the entire chelate, so for example when buying magnesium glycinate if the label says 400mg without stating that this is the elemental amount it means what you are getting is about 56mg of elemental magnesium and 344mg of glycine. This Alpha Pure comes right out and states that for 2 capsules you are getting 250mg of elemental magnesium, so 125mg per capsule. This isn’t bad, typically the better brands on average can squeeze in only about that same amount of elemental magnesium per capsule with a couple brands getting as high as 150mg/capsule, while most cheap brands are less than 100mg per capsule with some as low as 40mg per capsule. Next, this product says it has magnesium rich greens powder added. Okay, at 150mg that is not doing much at all for you. But, I will say, this magnesium does not have any fillers like most brands do, so maybe the greens powder replaces the icky stuff most manufacturers use like rice starch, silica, stearic acid, and so on. So, even though it is in an amount that isn’t enough to really give any benefits I’ll take the veggie powder over fillers any day. Lastly, Alpha Pure claims to have 3rd party testing but does not offer up anything to prove this, and it is manufactured in the US using globally sourced ingredients. Not ideal, but given the transparency regarding and dose of elemental magnesium and the lack of fillers, and that this is a 60 day supply, this gets a very strong “like” from me, wish I could give it 4.5 stars.

   This magnesium supplement comes in a large capsule that is fairly easy to swallow considering it’s size. The recommended daily usage is 2 capsules and the bottle container a 2 month supply. The magnesium comes in the form of magnesium malate, gluconate and glycinate. Also added to enhance the magnesium intake in several green containing magnesium including spinach, swiss chard,chlorella and. It is hard to tell if a supplement is really working to improve health or not but the elements in this supplement seem like the right ones. This product is manufactured in the U.S. in a lab that has the GMP seal and is non GMO so I feel good about taking it. The price is comparable to most high quality magnesium supplements.

   What called to me about this particular magnesium supplement is that not only is it a combination of three different chelated (you always want chelated, more bioabsorbable) magnesiums — and I always feel like you get a broader spectrum of benefits when you have a combination rather than just one; but on top of that they’ve added in a great little greens mix, so you get all the goodies that come with that! The combo of the greens and the magnesiums makes the capsules a nifty pale almost mint green. Unique!

   Add to that it’s manufactured in a GMP facility and it’s third party tested, so your quality is guaranteed, and you’ve got yourself a winner here!

   I have been using magnesium for a long time now. I found that this magnesium complex with greens and I purchased it because it is chelate not just a cheap magnesium like many others. It didn’t cause any stomach issues for me and I like the greens in it, and the bottle contains 120 capsules enough for two month. Till now it works pretty well. I will update my review in case of anything changes
