   My bottle of Type Zero Clean Kelp Tablets came well packaged with tamper evident seals in place. The tablets themselves are quite tiny so 60 tablets, which is a two month supply, only cover the very bottom of the bottle. One of the main reasons many people might consider a Kelp Supplement is for the iodine which most people only get through iodine enriched salt. Iodine is considered essential for the development of your nervous system and brain and helps with your alertness and coordination. It is believed that up to 45% of the global population are iodine deficient though in the USA where enriched salt is found in numerous packaged and processed foods the number is likely on the lower end.

   Proper intake of iodine in expectant mothers and small children might be particularly beneficial as iodine deficiency is one of the the most common forms of preventable mental retardation. While this kelp supplement is not sold to treat or prevent any condition there are believed to be many potential benefits associated with consuming kelp. Kelp may promote healthy nails and blood vessels, relieve constipation, as well as reduce hair loss and help with weight management. For me personally I became interested in a kelp supplement simply to ensure I get a healthy amount of iodine in my daily diet given that I have restricted and removed salt from most of my daily meals.

   These kelp supplement tablets appear to be high quality and I selected a five star rating for flavor because I perceived them as being flavorless. As for value for money I have noticed there are numerous kelp supplements available, some of which are at a lower price point and may also give you more tablets. Even so I am very pleased with these Kelp tablets and would gladly order them again.

   I like that this product is n.S f certified. It doesn’t taste like anything just one small pill with a little bit of water one time a day and you’re good to go. It’s always hard for me to rate vitamins.Or supplements due to the fact that some people respond differently to different things. I can say.I don’t feel any worse off for taking this supplement.But I can’t tell that i’m any better. For now I will give it three stars because because I just started taking it and it is early to tell if I will receive any real benefits. A lot of times the studies behind these supplements often say they may do what they claim for you but it does not guarantee it. I would say if you’re looking for sometime to try, why not?You don’t have anything to lose only something to gain and that’s knowledge whether this works or doesn’t work for you.

   The kelp tablets are packed with iodine, which is an important element for the human body well-being. Kelp is a seaweed, and seaweed is a rich natural source of iodine. Since I do not always have seaweed in my fridge and pantry, this supplement provides a good supply of iodine on a daily basis. The tablets are small and easy to swallow. They have a fresh green aroma and do not leave any aftertaste in the mouth. Good iodine supplement!

   Iodized table salt became a common thing for a reason, however in my household we always wind up with some fancy rock or sea salt (couple of chefs around here) and table salt isn’t usually top of mind when I’m at the grocery store (probably due to my lack of iodine, up until this point). Lack of it in the diet, for me at least, means brain fog, puffy face, dry skin, and a general cloud of depressive malaise hovering over me. However! This supplement, in its perfect, slippery, easily-swallowable form factor (even for tricksy pill-takers like myself) is helping to alleviate all of that. Your mileage may vary, of course, always talk to your doctor before assuming anything for certain– but in the event that you find yourself lacking iodine, this supplement will take care of that.
   And it’s derived from kelp! Makes me think of that old Spongebob episode with the pizza delivery every time I look at the bottle, which probably subconsciously makes me more likely to remember to take it daily.

   This seems to be a good quality Kelp so far.

   – Tablets are easy to swallow
   – No odd aftertaste or ill effects
   – Price/Value is very good
   – Label has GMP stamp and claims 3rd party lab tested (however I haven’t seen the COA yet)

   I haven’t had any problem taking these, but I’m only giving 4 stars for now until I have a chance to view a COA from the company for this product. If/when I receive that, I’ll revise my review accordingly.
