My lips had been chapped LITERALLY for a month. Why? Idk god had apparently forsaken me without warning. Like every morning I woke up w bloody cracked lips. HORRIBLE. So I get this via recommendation when I got desperate and posted an sos on IG.
This literally cured my lips in TWO DAYS. TWOO DAYYYYS. Tears of joy were shed.
I stopped using it Bc of the cortisone and now I’m just putting on aquaphor or Vaseline. And my lips are back to normal.

This is the only thing that worked when I was on roaccutane!! I was putting any balm I could put my hands on every 30 minutes but once I tried this it was maybe twice a day. It was a godsend!! I still use it although I’ve stopped the medication. Not the nicest taste but it’s a small factor when your lips are like the Sahara 🐪

The only stuff that has worked for my kids dry chapped lips. My son gets huge red rings around his lips where he licks them constantly and it gets really chapped. This is the only product that has worked! Smells a little funny/taste a little funny but works great. The smell and taste isn’t so powerful that it’s a deal breaker. Even for the picky toddler.

Omg I have been having issues with my lips and the skin around them since February. I have tried coconut oil, Aquaphor, medicated lip balm, and a sugar scrub. Nothing was working! I finally figured out that I most likely have eczema on my lips and it’s been so embarrassing. My lips and the skin around them were always peeling, dry, and burning, which is super uncomfortable. But this product has made such a big difference! I’ve been using it for a little less than a week and all of the previous issues are gone. My lips are soft and normal again. I’m so happy I could cry. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

This stuff is a miracle worker. Out of the blue back in April or May (I live in Arizona by the way—so it’s crazy dry to begin with) my lips became so dry I couldn’t believe it. Never in my life living in Colorado and Arizona had I experienced dryness like this. Nothing was healing my lips and (it was going on for two weeks.) The closest was Aquaphor. It was helping, but not curing. So I had gone to the dermatologist to see what they could do to help and the physician’s assistant told me to get this stuff and gave me a few samples. It CURED my severely dry lips. I don’t know what brought it on, but all I know is it’s gone. I had one mini flare up afterwards and used Dr Dan’s again, and Boom—gone. I totally recommend it. Not for everyday purposes, but when you need to high powered dry lip therapy.

BEST PRODUCT EVER!!! I suffer from CLS – CRACK LIP SYNDROME. I am 43 and have had a problem with dry cracked pealing lips all my life! For the first time in my life I have had dry, cracked, itchy lips. It started in November and has continued till May. At first I thought it was the cold winter weather here in Northern Michigan. I began drinking lots of water and fluids, thinking it could just be dehydration. I tried at least 15 different kinds of lip balms, all promising to work on dry, scaly lips. None of them helped. Every 2 to 3 days my lips would crack and the skin would actually peal right off my face. It was very uncomfortable and even above and below my lips was red, swollen and itchy. I read about this product with cortisone in it, tried it and it has worked wonders! My lips are almost back to normal and I’m so happy!

I’m currently on accutane (60mg a day) and my lips are totally ruined. <\3 I’ve been struggling daily with chapped, sore, bleeding, and most of all peeling lips.
I’ve been on accutane 2 years ago as well and I used to use straight up cortisone 10 cream & aquaphor together and it would heal my cracked chapped lips within a day.
This year I’ve been using Vaseline or aquaphor for my lips and they both haven’t helped. They’d just moisturize my lips for a short period of time then be absorbed by my lips quickly. It also almost felt like those products made my peeling worse.
I searched around online and saw some people raving about this chapstick so I bought it asap. After a week of using this product multiple times daily, I can say the pros about the chapstick is that it works quickly, is moisturizing, and lasts longer than aquaphor and Vaseline do on the lips. It healed the sore, cracked, and dry areas consistently that the other products couldn’t. I took off a star because it didn’t help at all with the peeling for me 🙁
I would purchase this again, unless i can find something that combats all my lip issues in one product.
My last resort now to stop the peeling is to try the cortisone 10 cream i used to use in combination with this chapstick, crossing my fingers
Edit: I ended up having to get a prescription to use from my doctor regarding the peeling. I still use this chapstick along with it though! If your peeling doesn’t stop after using this or aquaphor i highly recommend asking your dermatologist about a prescription as well, as it almost 100% fixed the severe chapped peeling lips i had 🌸

This product was the only product that helped me get rid of a very dry patch on my upper lip. I was taught to use it sparingly as it does contain medication that should not be overused. Use as needed and it will last for quite aqhile. I have not had a dry patch since so not sure what caused my dryness, but glad I found this product for when the situation may occur again.
