The item was very dirty,like it was used.
I tried this after wearing my mask at work all day. The taste is a bit fruity (in a medicine way). It really did not work well and I still had bad breath so not overalls impressed. I gave it a second go with a toothbrush and it worked a bit better. Didn’t last all day but did at least freshen up my breath.
There are a couple problems with this gel. First thing is that before you buy this make sure you take an extra look at the size of the container that it is in because it is way smaller than it appears. Second thing is that this gel is gag worthy, not sure how to explain the taste of it but it’s not good, I guess it being quote on quote all natural is what makes it taste like that. Third thing is that I’m not sure if this stuff even helps with breath, it’s almost like you didn’t even put it in your mouth so I do not really care for this stuff
Este Gel, es raro. Lo compré por error. Es igual que una pasta de dientes, pero no sé si ellos pretenden que uno se trague ese gel, pero a mà me da disgusto, porque se siente como si uno se fuera a comer la pasta de cepillarse. Yo de hecho, me cepillé con ella los dientes, pero mi Colgate sabe mejor. No la vuelvo a comprar!
This is a sweetened herbal tongue cleaning gel. I used this with my Tungs’ tongue brush. The sweeteners in this are good, sorbitol and xylitol and they are one of the first ingredients. This will make your mouth water and the enzymes in your saliva will help in cleaning too. The sorbitol and xylitol are sugars that bacteria in your mouth can not digest/metabolize and this will cause the bacteria to die. I like the ingredients and I like the product. It is not the strong mint most people expect from oral care products. This has a sweet herbal taste, it’s a good flavor. I do NOT taste tea tree in it at all and I’m glad I don’t because I hate tea tree. It is a gel and a pale greenish color. I don’t have bad breath, so I can’t say if this will cure that or not, but there are several causes of bad breath aside from your tongue. You should always clean your tongue whether you have bad breath or not! If you have a dry mouth, this product will absolutely help with that too.
The 2 things that I don’t like about the product are the TINY bottle and the price. Yes, this is only ONE OUNCE. For $12, that is a bit much. I think if this was repackaged in a much bigger bottle for $12, I would absolutely repurchase this. Tungs is only $18 for 12oz in a 4 pack (3oz each) and ever cheaper on S&S. Yes, this has more ingredients in it that will affect the price, but still. I would never bother purchasing a bottle of anything that is only 1 ounce…..I would have to buy it in bulk or buy it every week. It is a waste of time and money in a 1 ounce bottle. Give me 4 ounces and a better price per ounce, I would absolutely buy this again! I took a star away from this because of the size/price issue. The product itself is 5 stars! I really do like it!
If anyone else is still reading that does have bad breath, the cure for that is a blue/red LED mouthpiece that are sold in tooth whitening kits. The blue lights will kill the bacteria and the red will heal your gums if you have recession, pain. If you have morning breath, the lights will resolve that issue. I would absolutely still clean your tongue and this gel is excellent for that, just too small/pricey for now.
UPDATE: I REALLY like this product. So much that I went to their site directly and found this item for under 6 so I did purchase 5 or 6 of them. I also found a gum gel with Q10 and some other stuff to try as well.
This is only a 1.2 ounce tube. It has a a minty clove favor that burns my teeth, tongue and gums. Too strong for my liking but it does clean well.
Doesn’t taste bad. The tube is small, but it takes very little so the tube should last a month. A tongue cleaner alone won’t cut it. You need a tube of some type of cleaner as well.
