I got these for my husband and didn’t pay attention to the size, he has diabetes and I wanted to get him some socks that are made for diabetics. They are a little small on him, but he made them work and he says they are comfortable, they don’t cut into his ankle like some socks do. He is on his feet for 12 hours at work and still has not many complaints about them. His one complaint for the cost was he said they are pretty thin and don’t offer much extra cushion like he hoped they would. I think they are quite expensive for what you get though.

I ordered these diabetic socks for my elderly dad and he really likes them. I like that they are mostly (80%) cotton and made in the USA. I don’t like the price, however. They are $39.99 for THREE PAIRS of socks, not six pairs as stated in the description. They would still be pricey if the description were accurate. At over $13 per pair they are a rip-off. While they are nice socks, I can’t recommend them at this price.

They are nice socks. They don’t seem any different than regular socks though, so I don’t know what about them makes them “diabetic” socks. But they are great. The printing of USA inside the sock is also a bit weird, why not put it on the outside?

Full disclosure, I’m not diabetic, so I’m not the target audience for these socks. I ordered them because I wanted a comfortable, stretchy, non-binding sock for wearing around the house, and possibly for sleeping, but they aren’t all that warm.
First things first – 6 socks, not 6 pairs
The product description states that there are 6 PAIRS of socks priced at $39.99, but like many others, I received 6 socks, or 3 pairs, not 6 pairs. Either way, these made-in-the-USA socks are overpriced at $39.99!!
The fit
I wear a women’s size 8M shoe, so the socks fit me very well. They are stretchy, yet they stay up. They do leave a mark on my legs at the top of the sock, yet they aren’t binding, nor do they feel tight or cut off circulation. Again, I am not diabetic, so I can’t say how they would work for a diabetic individual, those with circulation issues, or those with edema or neuropathy.
Design, quality
While the socks aren’t super thin, I don’t feel extra cushion on the heels or sole, but they certainly are thicker than the cuff area of the sock, which is stretchy and airy.
As I mentioned, the socks are stretchy, so the toe box feels good when wearing the socks around the house.
Comfort
I have not worn the socks outside my home, so I haven’t worn them with regular “street” or “outside” shoes, but the socks are comfortable covering bare feet around the house, and they are also comfortable with my slippers. Of course, they are socks, so they are not non-slip.
Bottomline, these Cotton Diabetic Ankle Socks are okay, and they are comfortable, but there is nothing overly special about them, and they are not worth $13.33 a pair in my opinion.

My foot size is within the range the description of this sock is designed for. However these socks are too loose on my feet. Also the material is not very comfortable for long days and lots of activity. I did not feel any additional cushioning I was expecting in the heel. If you’re in need of loose fitting socks then this may be for you. However I did not like these socks at all.

If your socks are loose, you ordered the wrong size. These fit fine and are comfortable while looking very okayish. The value is good, IMO, and they work well while still being stretchy.
