I’ve used several different brands of Caffeine pill over the years because I don’t enjoy coffee. Nutricost has instantly become my go-to. The coating on the pills means that they go down smoothly every time, and I am one who normally struggles to take larger pills. The pills ARE the second largest I take, but they’re so easy to take that the only issue I’ve had is wondering whether I actually took them or only thought about doing it. That’s resolved after about 5 or 10 minutes when the effects kick in, and I’m good to go for 5-8 hours. The energy boost is noticeable, but not distracting, and in the few days I’ve been taking them so far, it has not involved the jitteriness or racing heartrate that I would sometimes get with other brands.
The coating is what sold me on the product, but the cost-per-pill is phenomenal as of the time of this review. I get 9 times as many pills in one of these bottles as I would from any of the name brands I’ve used until now! Incredible value. If I wasn’t set for almost a year with just the bottle I bought, I’d be ordering a second right now.
Great cheap alternative to energy drinks/coffee, especially before a workout. Have noticed inconsistencies in the pills’ effects though—taken under nearly identical circumstances sometimes I barely feel them and other times they hit like a truck. But, you get what you pay for. Good value overall.
Great and inexpensive caffeine alternative to coffee or energy drinks
Funciona muy bien, el boost no es instantáneo El efecto lo sientes a las 15 minutos pero mejor porque no altera el sistema nervioso. Si te ejercitas o necesitas mucha energía durante el día, es recomendable tomar 2 cápsulas ya que el efecto de 1 cápsula dura aproximadamente 4-5horas no más, yo suelo tomar 1 al despertar y otra luego del almuerzo y me mantiene todo el día despierta, calmada y enfocada.

I was (am) addicted to caffeine (partly due to needing energy from a medication that can make me fatigued). However, coffee was costing me $100-200 a month and not only made me really jittery and anxious but also, I had to have like 3-4 cups a day to stay afloat.
Lucky for me, I decided to try these (I always go with top rated products, with the most votes, because there’s usually a reason so many people say it’s so good) and wow did they rock my world…!!!
The first day, I took one pill in the morning and within 20 minutes, I felt energized but clear and in a pure and clean way…no jitteriness, no anxiety, and no feeling like I need another until midday (truly, I haven’t tried to go a day on just one pill in the morning – I always take a 2nd one between 12pm and 1pm just to ensure I’m not losing out on feeling fully energized). I don’t take naps anymore (like I did on coffee) and I don’t drink coffee anymore. 1 pill in the morning and one midday keeps me going from 6am to 12am (that’s 18 hours). It’s also way easier to wake up.
And I still have no trouble falling asleep.
I REALLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT if you’re looking for less jitters and anxiety and to completely obliterate your coffee expenses. Note that coffee has other things in it that contributes to the jitters and anxiety. I’ve now learned that caffeine, alone, was never the culprit.
Nothing but good, clean, clear, pure, effective, consistent energy, here. You will NOT be disappointed. DO NOT take more than 2 pills a day…also, you really shouldn’t need to.
Pro-tip: L-theanine works synergistically with caffeine and will not make you tired. Rather, it will calm and relax your mind. I take two tablets of the Stress-Relax brand called “Suntheanine” in the morning when I take my first caffeine pill of the day, and this helps to combat any heady feeling the caffeine pill may give, as well keeps me calm, cool, and collected when I go through stressful situations throughout the day (as a preschool/kindergarten teacher). I highly recommend this combo if you also feel like 200mg of caffeine is strong on your system. 🙂
I still enjoy coffee, and I do like the taste, but most days I prefer start with two of these 200mg capsules at 6am – that’s one dose of 400mg, which keeps me going all day, no jitters, and I fall asleep at 10pm. Please be aware of consuming any other foods, energy drinks, or products that contain caffeine while using this product. I limit total daily intake to 400mg.

Wanted a quick ” pick me up”, without the hassle of making a cup of coffee. The milligrams in one capsule is about the same as a cup of coffee, so, I figured I give it a shot. I was not let down, at all. This product lasts longer than a cup of coffee, doesn’t have you going to the bathroom every 10 minutes, like coffee does ( coffee is a diuretic ), and does not upset you’re stomach. It will make you jittery, but only if you get greedy and take more than one capsule. ( learned my lesson on that one ). Easy to swallow too. Not a gigantic horsepill… I’m getting up there in age, so this was the perfect item if I was working a little late in the garage, and needed a ” kick” to finish a project. Very happy with results.
