I really wanted to like these, but it was impossible. The overly hard disc lasted maybe 45 minutes, and the whole time felt like it was gonna fall off if I tried to eat or drink anything. And like another reviewer said, you seem to need saliva to keep it activated, which completely defeats the purpose. Oh, the “fresh spearmint burst” tasted more like they waved a piece of chalk over a mint plant a few times and called it good. Don’t waste your money.
Horrid flavor… the side that your tongue touches should be rounded. The other brand is much better flavor – I did feel like my mouth was moist but it’s bc the taste made me nauseous
Best product I’ve found so far that treats dry mouth.
I agree with several other reviewers. I wanted this to be amazing. It was odd to have it mortared onto the top of my mouth. The sensation was not overwhelmingly bad… it just felt weird. That I could get past. With my nightly dry mouth kicking in, I felt myself continuously trying to swallow with a very little saliva. This too felt very strange but I could deal with it.
Then it happened. About 30 minutes after I laid down, my head just started getting crazy sharp pains shooting thru it. When I managed to dislodge the tab from the roof of my mouth and scrub the little gooey spot for 10 minutes with a toothbrush to get it gone, the pain immediately went away.
Now, I in no way think that it was an inferior product in general. It seems to work better for others. I also am not willing to blame with no doubt any of the individual ingredients of the product. I think it might have been due to the constant swallowing and the weirdness of the suction sensation in my mouth.
However you choose to take my review, I really wanted this to be a great and amazing product. For me, it was not at all that. You may be different. Give it a shot, it has worked for tons of people. Just order a small amount first go around to see, and try not to pin all your hopes on this little tab before you have actually used one. Disappointment is rarely great but is often magnified by our imaginations about the usefulness and relief of things we have never seen. Hopefully, this will work great for you!

I bought these because Oramoist is out of stock everywhere. While these stick well and have a mild minty flavor, they do nothing to encourage salivation. I was hoping they would replace Oramoist, but unfortunately they don’t work for me.
Yes, these do work, increasing the saliva production in a dry mouth, but it’s short acting. I used primarily at night. In the AM and during the night, mouth was dry and I was very thirsty. The thirst was new side effect and alleviated after I stopped using this product. The search continues for dry mouth relief.
I noticed most of the “bad” reviews noted they didn’t like the taste. I agree about the spearmint as chalk would most likely taste like dessert compared to these. Notice they have a second new taste that is orange flavored. For those of you who don’t like the taste of either of these, I take either flavor( but prefer the orange) and put a little drop of the jelly belly cherry flavor that is advertised on this same Amazon website overnight. If you don’t like cherry, I’m sure you can find some flavor that a small drop on these and viola-this may really help with dry mouth. It did for me.
