   I have a dachshund and if you know that breed, you know they are very stubborn, quick and smart. If they do not want you to groom them, you can’t. Even at the vet’s she escaped their clutches and knocked over the instrument tray and ran around the room making them chase her! My pup is now reaching the old age of 14 and her breath starting smelling. I cleaned out her mouth the best I could and started a water additive which helped and I am now adding this spray. The smell is almost gone. The spray has a very mild smell and taste and I do not think the taste bothers her at all. The spray is slightly scary for her and she jerks her head away but she ends up licking up any spray that gets on her face with that long dachshund tongue so it is working. I hope with time she will get more accepting of it, but she is a dachshund! The listing on Amazon has an error in it and talks about how this is a water additive. It is not.

   This dog breath spray by XINSZLIN Did not pass the I like it stage from either of our dogs. Both of our dogs have putrid breath and both are kissers. We’ve tried all sorts of things to help with it of which dentachews are probably the best, but they are so expensive and it seems to upset their stomachs. The directions say ‘just gently open their mouths and spray’. Yeah right! Pilling them is a chore to begin with so try to open a dogs mouth with one hand and spray with the other? Go on try…

   With the help of my wife we were able to finally get a spray in. Our little dog Ollie freaked out and was not happy. The other one clearly was not pleased. Whereas she previously would allow us to pull her mouth open and pill it, now after doing a spray she is pushing away severely at the look of the bottle.

   So I tried pouring some on a spoon. Neither would lick it.

   I poured some directly in their food bowls. Neither would lick it

   I sprayed some on their food which did not prevent them from eating it, but mixed with the food their breaths obviously still smelled like dog food, but with a hint of mint.

   Sorry, nice try. Not my vote but the dogs review is a 1 Star. Threw it away.

   Mint flavored dog dental breath spray. 5 oz bottle. Boast no brushing needed and a 6 and 1 formula. So far so good for my toy yorkie.

   I ordered this to help alleviate my elderly dogs bad breath. He’s beyond the age where I’m comfortable with vet teeth cleanings and it’s not always easy brushing his teeth. I’ve only used this a few times and do notice that his breath isn’t so offensive. He wasn’t thrilled with it being sprayed into his mouth but I’m not thrilled with his breath! With that I plan to continue using it since he does tolerate a quick spray in the mouth more than I can tolerate the poor boy’s breath. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that continued use will help us both.

   I get the feeling that the husky on this bottle is laughing at me, because mine just clamped her mouth shut and refused to play. My pug was slightly more cooperative, but only slightly, because, hey, if it might be food, he’s always up for it. Once, at least. This will not work with him a second time. The first time I did see a noticeable improvement in his breath, so it is effective. If you can get your dogs to cooperate.
