   Makes me want to brush my tongue now. I have tried multiple different scrapers and brushes and I just don’t stick with it – its a habit I can’t get with. This brush itself makes me want to brush and clean my tongue. It is gentle on the tongue and doesn’t scrape it like a metal scraper would essentially. The handle is easy to hold and has like a gripper thingy on it which is nice. The brush has two sides to it the scraper and the exfoliator we will call it with the bristles. For the price its worth it to replace them.

   As someone with aligners, I didn’t realize how much buildup was uncleaned until I tried this tongue cleaner. The triple-action design is spot-on—gentle bristles, a textured scrubber, and an effective scraper all in one. It takes just a few seconds, and my mouth feels so much fresher afterward.
   I love that it’s part of the SuperMouth system too, which I already use for brushing and rinsing. The grip is comfortable, the shape minimizes gagging, and it makes a difference in breath throughout the day. Plus, the silver finish looks sleek on my counter. It’s functional, well-made, and fits effortlessly into my daily routine without breaking the bank.

   Braces or not, this is a unique and effective tongue cleaner!

   I have been using tongue scrapers for years and it was quite refreshing to see this one as it looks approachable and easy to handle- unlike the others that look like mid-evil torture devices. 

   This is a nice size (not so small it doesn’t cover enough area and not too big where you end up gagging on it. The surface is strong enough to get all the nasty gunk off but it doesn’t hurt at all. The soft handle makes it comfortable to hold/use too. 

   While this packs away just as easy as a toothbrush, you will want to keep the bristly part protected as they can flatten out a bit if this is packed tight in your bag. Finding a cover that fit this wasn’t an issue either.

   Unlike the metal scrappers, this won’t last forever and will need to be replaced. Thankfully, the price is very reasonable. This is a great addition to any oral care routine!

   The unique triple-action design really sets this tongue scraper apart. It reaches and cleans in ways that regular scrapers or brushes just don’t. My mouth feels noticeably fresher after using it. The only downside is the handle; it feels a bit flimsy and could use a sturdier material for better durability. Still, a great addition to my oral care routine, especially compared to other tongue scrapers I have used recently.

   This tongue scraper has two sides – one with a soft brush and the other with the scraper. I was interested in how this would work versus the simple plastic scraper I have been using and while it does work, it doesn’t work quite as well. Following the directions, I brushed my tongue and scraped it three times, rinsing the scraper off in between. After three times I tried my normal scraper and was still able to remove stuff. On the positive side this is definitely gentler than the more brute force method the plastic scraper does but for me it’s not a replacement.

   This little device is just what everyone needs. I was using my toothbrush to scrub my tongue and I thought it was doing a pretty good job. I didn’t know how wrong I was until I tried this for the first time. The ick that came off my tongue was eye opening and I have really good dental hygiene. I brush and floss religiously. So to see that gunk come off, I was pretty surprised. Our tongues are like little shag carpets. They hold in food and bacteria. If you aren’t cleaning your tongue with every brushing you are missing out on an important step that affects how your breath smells. This device has 2 sides. One for scraping and one for brushing. Use both of them during every brushing. First scrape and then brush. Rinse the tool and let it air dry and you’re all done. If you really want to get fancy about disinfecting the tool just poor a little hydrogen peroxide over it at the end and let it air dry. Either way, the maintenance is super simple. I promise when you use this your mouth will feel so much cleaner and everyone you come in contact with will appreciate the fresh breath.

   This SuperMouth® Ortho Tongue Scraper for Teens & Adults I find a bit novel in some ways, underwhelming in other. I was trying to figure out why this tongue scrapers is being promoted for people with braces on because to me a tongue scraper is a tongue scraper is a tongue scraper……, I think that probably it simply is because this is made of plastic rather than metal, so it isn’t risking knocking a brace off your teeth by accident or damaging any appliance if it is fragile at all. But really anyone can use this. What I will say about it (and I’ve tried quite a number of tongue scrapers now, both in metal and plastic and varying styles) is that the bristled side of this I found unpleasant to use and ineffective. The bristles I thought were too long and stiff and didn’t seem to pull any mucus off my tongue (I have another bristled scraper that you can see what it is pulling off and the bristles are shorter- this one made me want to gag more easily because the bristles weren’t ideal- too tall, too stiff, too skinny and spaced out. But the S-shaped side-that side of the tongue scraper is brilliant!!!! This is because when you pull it over your tongue all the gunk collects in that S-shaped groove instead of dripping off the scraper, like it does with traditionally shaped scrapers. This S-shaped grooved side is a really great design. I think they need to refine the bristled side more, I know that can be done better.
