I bought several pairs of these socks for my husband who suffers from swelling of his feet & legs. When they arrived, I was afraid that they would not be comfortable. They just looked rather small. When he examined them, he had his doubts also, but decided to try them. He was amazed at how comfortable they are! The tops of the socks do not restrict the circulation! They expand and even with swelling, there is not line like his usual socks. He is very pleases with them!

My husband has been wearing these socks for 3 or 4 years now. Before that, I tried every kind of diabetic sock imaginable (including the famous doctor brand). All the other brands deteriorated very quickly, and had to be darned or just plain thrown out. The last two new pair I purchased of Wigwam Men’s Diabetic Walker Crew Length Sock over 3 years ago are still being worn by my husband, though they are somewhat worn…no holes though! If you think these cost a bit much, consider the fact that they can be worn for YEARS, not weeks.

The socks fit and were comfortable when I put them on. However, as soon as I started walking, they started sliding down over my heel. I was pulling them up all day long.

I use this sock inside walking boots. It is comfortable and warm and protects my feet. Good product that does what is intended. Although not as good as some other walking socks I would recommend.

These socks are soft and neither exceedingly thin nor exceedingly padded. They strike a perfect balance for me between thin nylon dress socks and casual fuzzy socks. I’m a 9D or E depending on shoe last; so these medium socks are perfect. The length is indeed crew, NOT over-the-calf as many socks labeled “crew” are for me! The knit is smooth and soft, and the tops are not tight and binding but do stay up for me. I have heavier ankles than some people, and many brands of socks are just too “skinny” to fit my feet and WAY too tight on my calves. These socks have a lot of stretch to them without being “loose.” Having tried some “diabetic” socks by other makers, and finding them too loosely woven and falling down, I bought just one pair of these first. After seeing them and wearing them once, I knew I had found the right socks for me. I ordered 13 more pairs to make sure I had enough for two weeks between laundry cycle. Finally COMFORTABLE high-quality socks for a guy with cankles! AND they are made in the USA!! Perfect!

I keep buying more of these socks year after year. They are durable and well-made. I cycle out an older pair of socks from another brand each year, replacing them with these. I expect I will have only these socks in my sock drawer one day. I have very sensitive circulation in my feet, ankles, and legs. These are the only socks I own that stay put, keep my feet warm, slip on and off easily, and do not constrict where edema can be a problem. I’ve been very particular about socks over the years. These are the best socks I’ve ever found.

These are great socks. They stay up just fine but don’t cut the circulation off like most other men’s socks in my shoe size – 11. And the seam at the toes is on the outside of the sock – very smooth on the toes.

Actually not any big thrill for me personally, as socks go wigwam makes a LOT of more “hi-fi” ones. But it does have a nice relaxed fit, without falling down… and obviously its excellent quality

Ordered three pair of the wigwam white crew length. Half of them had a small hole between ankle and heel. Because I’m lazy and the hole wasn’t visible with shoes on and the socks are comfortable I did not return. I’ll be trying a different brand for next order. 50% defect rate is too high

I ordered the khaki socks, size XL, for my husband who has neuropathy in his feet and ankles, but cannot wear tight socks. These were a perfect and comfortable fit and the color was good for all of the khaki cargo pants he wears. They cost a bit more than some similar socks, but are of a better quality.
