   Shoot. Be careful. I felt unusually nauseous after 1 pill. Being suspicious, I opened the next 2 and they were ~245mg (weighed). For me, ill eventually get there, but wasn’t expecting an extra 30% increase per serving. But for those that were maybe expecting an extra 20mg or so (being attuned to 180mg)…this is a Hella more than you’ll be expecting.

   for taking them orally you will notice an improvement in mental cognition within 20 – 40 minutes after you take it. if you take 2 of them better be ready to drink lots of water because the only way to keep the unwanted side effects away is to stay hydrated. ive been useing these every day for a few years now and i can say its really improved my ability to converse with people and add to the subject instead of just listening to others carry the conversation. its also improved my ability to carry on with getting lots of labor work done. so if your reading this because your on the fence about trying these. give this brand a chance first before you try somone elses. It doesnt burn the nostrils as bad like other caffeine mixs do if you decide to insuffolate a little bit to get it to kick in faster.

   These are great!
   Packaging/Delivery: Prime, arrived very quickly. The package is a zip-top bag, items did not seem damaged. Not ideal, maybe because I’m used to screw-tops. Expect there to be powder in the bag when you reach your hand in (don’t lick it off, it tastes terrible). I transferred a bunch to an empty Tic-Tac container to keep in my purse. They do look kind of like illicit substances, but it’s not so bad. I suggest labeling anything you put them in with the dosage and warning. I didn’t count them, but there were a LOT – even if some were broken, compared to buying coffee everyday, super worth it.

   Effectiveness: I wanted a consistent caffeine delivery system and this is it! I was worried about having the right dose because these came from the internet, the does is actually perfect for me, kicks in after about 30 minutes. There is also a clear warning about not taking more than 3 in 1 day. I take one 200mg dose in the morning (7-8am), and another between 1pm-3pm on days where I have a full schedule (work, kid, school), either case, I am exhausted between 9-11pm and actually sleep more deeply than before I started taking it. I now feel a push to get de bed within minutes of waking up, before I even take it. For reference: I used to drink a grande (188mg) or venti (259-564mg) iced coffee in the morning which can have a varying amount of caffeine, supported by this study and the fact that everyday I felt it had a varying effect.    Now that it has become increasingly difficult for conscientious consumers to make proper use of powdered caffeine anhydrous — i.e., for those of us who READ THE DIRECTIONS and MEASURE IT OUT using a calibrated digital scale — the market for pre-packaged caffeine pills has no doubt skyrocketed. Unfortunately, Bulk Supplements appears to have enough disregard for their customers to not bother with quality control. I did indeed read the caveats given by previous customers concerning the receipt of packages that were “short” a certain number of pills. Having ordered Bulk Supplements products before (mind you, these were pure powders and never pre-encapsulated), I decided that such reviews must merely have reflected the unfortunate, small proportion of transactions where (especially given the quantities being dealt with) an “accident” occurred.

   After receiving 289 of the promised 300 pills I paid for on my first attempt to give Bulk Supplements the benefit of the doubt, I have changed my mind. Bulk Supplements does appear to “gamble” on the probability that their customer will not take the time to check and see whether they have received the product that they purchased. I do wonder just how many customers have simply not had the time or inclination to do a pill-count on their own… The number of negative reviews given on Amazon is quite likely NOT reflective of the ACTUAL discrepancies which the few of us are willing to verify — not that a concern of the customer ought to be doing part of the work that THEY THEMSELVES paid for.

   I am aware that the “amount” of difference may seem negligible to some; I am not speaking to those who are willing to be lied to “a little bit” or who think that “a few dollars or cents” are somehow not “important” enough to quibble over. Given the number of transactions that have actually occurred where the agreement between Bulk Supplements and their customers has ended NOT in an “equal and agreed-upon exchange” but instead in a clear gain for Bulk Supplements, it is reasonable to assume that the sum of the exchanges in their favor may end up being quite extraordinary.

   I did contact Bulk Supplements customer service through Amazon’s “contact seller” link, and their reply was prompt and courteous. The substance of my message: “Please send me the missing eleven capsules.” (I included an image of the capsules received laid out on a baking sheet to help them understand that I had gone to the trouble to verify their claim.) The substance of their response: “All dealings made through Amazon must be dealt with via Amazon’s return-and-replacements policy.”

   I explained that I had purchased pre-packaged materials from Bulk Supplements and that, hence, my gripe in no way concerned Amazon, which latter company had completely fulfilled their end of the bargain. Bulk Supplements (again, very courteously) replied that I must “go through Amazon” if I wanted a return or replacement for a “defective” product.

   I see the technicality here, but the situation remains the same: If I go de my way to actually re-package and return the product to Amazon for a replacement, I am only “hoping” that the replacement package will contain what it is supposed to. This is not about whether Amazon can replace my product — of course they can. This is about Bulk Supplements providing Amazon with a “defective” product. Thus the present, very public complaint, which I told Bulk Supplements I would write. Being someone who believes that you ought to provide what you promise, I have taken the time to “do my job” and hope that others heed this warning.

   I first got a sample pack of these with a previous BulkSupplement purchase. I ended up using them up fast and purchased this for continued use. Brewed coffee, with or without milk is a hit or miss for me in terms of the kick as well as how my tummy fares. This supplement worked perfectly for me, whether I needed a pre-workout boost, needed to stay alert for a long drive, wanted to stay alert for a long stretch of working or needed to pull long hours at night. Small pills, easy to swallow.

   I had the same experience as some other reviewers though – one or more pills had popped open and all the pills were covered with fine white caffeine powder. I understand part of the reason for the low prices are the low spend on packaging. I did not try counting the pills, so not sure whether it was accurate or not.

   I forgot my pack last week while on a biz trip, so will definitely be buying my next one.
