I’ve never written a review on amazon before. These drops have saved us so many times. Our baby has always had issues with gas.. as a breastfeeding momma I had to watch everything I ate as everything gave her an upset belly. She would wake in the middle of the night with bad gas. The normal gas drops did nothing and we were going through them like crazy. These black gas drops give our baby instant relief. She passes the gas quickly and calms down and goes back to sleep. We are on our 3rd bottle. The price seems spendy but they do last along time and really I’d pay almost anything to give our babe this instant relief. If your baby is struggling with gas or stomach pain, buy these!! I also saw them being sold in walgreens for over $20. So the best price is here. They also seem to help with teething. Only giving 4 stars because of the droper, but you get the hang out it. They are messy but usually our baby is screaming in pain so its easy to give to her. Just a little at a time.

I think I got the same background story as many of you: my newborn got colics, as it is my first baby I got into panic mode, spend the nights reading though the internet and got:
– Chamomile globulis
– Carbo vegetabilis globulis
– Lactase
– Gerbers smooth drops probiotics (was BioGaia)
– Symethicon
and ordered the two best reviewed amazon solutions:
– Gripe water
– Tummy calm.
I spend days and weeks doing try and error to test every single solution and see if there was any progress. What I found out is:
every baby is different!!! If something isn’t working for me, it doesn’t mean it won’t work for you, so TRY IT!
In my case, the tummy clam was the solution! It’s the only thing we are using today (with a lot of cuddling and monkey grip (helps a lot!).
First of all: it is homeopathic! No chemicals, no Symethicon, just natural stuff!
it works! How can I be so sure? very simple: I stopped giving it 2 times for one day and the colic was immediately back!
Pro:
– compared to the gripe water, the serving size is much smaller. We started with 0.3 before or during every meal, and then switched to 0.6 (at 6 weeks approximately). Baby is doing great, there is no need to push hard anymore to poop, so he doesn’t wake up anymore.
Contra:
– I love this product, really, but there is ONE THING I really hate: THE COLOR!
Yes it matters. It is black. That means, it stains! And the stains are not easy to wash out! So I am very careful every time I give it to him, and try doing it BEFORE every meal, so he doesn’t spit it when he burps. It helps a lot, but you will still get some stains…
As I mentioned: every baby is different, so something that worked for me, might not work for you, but I would definitely try it!

This stuff does work, but only short term just like any other gripe water/gas drops. Don’t love how it’s a dark color but also understand it is cause it’s all natural. Good product but could be cheaper

My son suffered from a milk protein allergy and acid reflux, so I was looking for something I could add to his formula to help soothe his stomach but not add to the list of medications he was already taking. I like that everything in this product is all natural and from the moment I started giving it to him, I noticed a difference. I have been putting this in my son’s bottles for each feeding. I divided up the daily recommended dosage into smaller amounts so that he could have it with each feeding to help reduce gas. On days when he was having problems with bowel movements I would give him a dosage of this directly and it seemed to help move things along as well as make it less painful.

I originally bought this in 2016 for my colicky infant. It was incredible. It would instantly break up the gas bubbles in her tummy (you could hear it hit the gas bubbles and break them up) and I would get tons of burps out immediately and within 30 minutes, she’d fart up a storm. I recommended it to everyone. HOWEVER I recently bought this for my new infant since his lazy latch creates excess gas, and I regret it. They switched out the dropper for a syringe (which makes administering it a lot harder- the plunger got stuck when I was giving it to him so I added a little more pressure and it shot him in the back of the throat) and changed the formula. After I gave him the full dose, there was no gas breakup. None. Not only that, but for the next 24 hours, it was a nightmare. He was in so much pain- he wouldn’t stop crying. He wouldn’t pass gas or have a dirty diaper. It took 48 hours for him to finally poop. I know its normal for babies to skip a few days- but not my son. He goes a few times a day, every day, and after that 48 hours his dirty diapers picked up where they left off. It took 3 days for him to pass it all through his system. How do I know? You’ll see the remnants of it in the diaper. I do not recommend this at all. The original Tummy Calm i bought in 2016 was pure magic. But this stuff is garbage. Dont waste your money.

I recently purchased this for my 4th baby and recommend to any new moms who are battle gas in their little baby’s tummy! All 4 of my babies have used this with no trouble (oldest is now 6 years). With my first baby I tried lots of different gas relief drops and grip water, but they only worked a fraction of the time. Colic Calm worked quickly every time. I use half the recommended amount after burping baby, usually at night, and baby calms right down and drifts back to sleep. The only downfall is the liquid is black and difficult to wash out of clothes sometimes, but with practice I’m able to feed it to baby with little spill and the relief for baby is worth the extra laundry effort. I highly recommend!
