I have discovered if I really want to clean myself out just take this the same night that I eat barley soup. And then for fun, do it again with leftovers the next night. I do intermittent fasting and with that (for me at least) comes constipation issues sometimes but I have not had that problem while I was using this. I haven’t had any explosions or anything like that but I’ve had some impressive gas and regularity. I like that it doesn’t have the junk that so many of them do with the artificial sweeteners, flavors, sugars, dyes, etc. I add it to plain water and drink it before meals. If there is a little bit left at the bottom I just add more water and finish it off. There is zilch unpleasant taste to it, I barely taste it at all.
As someone looking to increase my daily fiber intake, I was excited to try the Active Green Pro Fibre Boost Prebiotic + Probiotic powder. I’m happy to report that this supplement has been an excellent addition to my routine. One of the best features of this powder is how easily it mixes into my favorite beverages. I typically add it to my shakes, and it blends easily without leaving any chunks or grainy texture. Plus, it’s completely flavorless, so it doesn’t alter the taste of my drinks at all. This makes it incredibly convenient to incorporate into my diet. The serving size is easy to measure, and with 40 servings per container, it lasts a reasonable amount of time. Overall, I’m very impressed with the Active Green Pro Fibre Boost Prebiotic + Probiotic powder. It’s an easy and convenient way to boost your fiber intake while also supporting digestive health!
Well this one definitely helped my digestive issues as well as helped me be more regular with my bathroom visits. Does everything it claims, even on an empty stomach. The only issues I have is it tends to solidify somewhat on the bottom of your cup unless you’re stirring it for a bit after putting it into your drink. It will dissolve, just takes a minute in the cold drink I had.
I can see this product really helping my in my weight loss journey as regular digestive Heath is essential to effective weight loss, not the most important kind you but it is a significant factor.
Very much recommend if you need to straighten out your bowls and then some.
I sometimes think some of these are overpriced a bit but his one is pretty good but comparison to the alternative. The nearby health food store has a similar looking juice blend they call mean green. I bought it frequently and reused the glass jars at about seven bucks for a pint bottle. The price has gone up post pandemic, so I’ve had to cut back. This blend here is very similar in taste, and probably even healthier as it contains not just veggies, but vitamins and digestive aids. It keeps you regular as well.
With 40 servings averaging a buck a piece, the value is many times buying mean green, and I can make it at home I don’t have to drive to the juice bar. Plus, since I can pretty much make on demand, I don’t have to worry about it spoiling. I usually bought two or three jars of mean green to save on trips, but sometimes forgot to drink it in time. You can add a squeeze of lemon or lime to this to change the flavor a bit as well. Good healthy stuff. Recommended.
I thought since they were using organic inulin, I would be ok. Nope. I had to stop after just a few days. Which was a bummer since this product had zero taste which made it ideal as an addition to other drinks. hope it works for you.
I was so excited to receive this, as I want to add more fiber and protein to my diet. It is gluten-free too, and one scoop is only 30 calories, so this looked good.
The tub is large and contains 40 servings. There is a scoop inside too, which is very handy. I added one scoop of this powder to my fruit smoothie to test it out.
The good news – no taste at all, so you won’t even know you are consuming this. It also blended very well in my smoothie.
The not so good news – one scoop had a pretty fast effect fiber-wise (if you know what I mean!). I would suggest maybe half a scoop in future.
Overall, this is good stuff, just be aware of the strong fiber effect.
I picked this up to add some extra fiber to my diet. The bottle comes with a measuring scoop and just over half full (you can see how full in the photo with me holding it up to the light). I prefer not to have a way oversized container taking up extra cabinet space, so wish they had made this fit the contents more closely, as it has a bunch of empty space in it.
The powder doesn’t have any particular scent that I could detect (I don’t have a great sense of smell, I’ll admit). I mixed it in with just some cold tap water to see how well it dissolved and also to give it a taste test without anything else mixed in. It took some stirring and then more stirring, but most of it dissolved into the water. The resulting liquid is kind of a light brown, similar looking to apple cider (see photo with the glass, which is just water and this powder). There were some chunks at the bottom of my glass even after that, but they seemed to have later dissolved after I added my usual powdered juice to it and mixed it yet again.
As for flavor, it has a very slight taste that’s neither good or bad, it’s just kind of there. The flavor is weak enough that after adding my juice powder, I couldn’t detect this at all, so it makes for a good, non-intrusive supplement to whatever you’re eating or drinking anyway.
Besides the container that’s way larger than it needs to be and requiring a bit of vigorous stirring to fully dissolve the powder, this is a great way to add some extra fiber, prebiotic, and probiotic to your diet. It’s easy to use and doesn’t seem to impact the taste all that much, if at all.
