   I brought this so I could replace my plastic water bottle. I do love it, but it does sometimes leak around the edges. It is also heavier than a plastic water bottle so you have to remember that.

   Best shaker for ease of cleaning and keeping liquids cold.
   The removable O-ring shows they really thought about maintenence. The lid has very few cracks and crevases for anything to get stuck in, and the rounded bottom of the inside means not having anything gunk up in the corners. I’ve had one for a while now and there has been no bad odor or concern that it wasn’t clean. The shaker ball isn’t my favorite mixing method because it rattles when empty, and if they ever come out with one with a mixing screen or some way to silence the mixing ball it would be even better.

   Good cup so far, no leaks, top has no issues like another showed, I never have builder up pressure when shaking compared to the plastic shakers. I love that this hold my drink for many hours. I’m a bariatric patient and needed this. I love all the colors I got the pretty pink for now but I plant to come for the blue next. Very durable, cold for many hours. I washed it, I have no issues with any smells, it has some weight to it and I love the grip handle on the lid.

   I would buy another if it didn’t clean up so easily.

   My old plastic shakers would get a little funky and I would either throw em out or really really clean them. I don’t need to do that with this shaker bottle. You can practically rinse bottom portion and you’re good to go. However it is dishwasher safe if you forget the stuff you were mixing in the bottle for too long. The top cleans easily and the red rubber gasket for sealing the lid and the base has a flap so that it is easy to remove for cleaning.

   The base is metal. The top is the same BPA free plastic that all the other hydro flasks come with.

   The verdict is out on the locking mechanism for the cap. It doesn’t leak, but I am use to that “click” with the other shaker bottles. This one doesn’t do that. It just kind of closes. If it starts leaking, I’ll update.

   Size is perfect for the gym and the markings inside let me gage how much and of what I am mixing.

   Weight is considerably more than the plastic shakers, but if your using it during any form of physical training it shouldn’t matter too much.

   Bottle looks great and the handle is actually useful. I thought it would get in the way. It does not.

   Overall, I am super pleased with the purchase and the functionality of this shaker bottle. Highly recommended.

   I got this smoothie bottle in May and it’s only been about half a month – now every time I shake to make my smoothie the cap leaks terribly. The bottle is not reliable to drink from or to use for blending the beverages. I’m usually a fan of the hydro flask bottles, but this one did not live up to expectations.

   This was larger than I was expecting but perfect for me to take to work and have as either breakfast or my travel snack on my way home or both. I love the color as it goes with my other drink containers. It’s way too clean and keeps my protein shake cold for me to enjoy.

   I have been trying to get rid of plastic bottles, this had been great. The shaker does a great job and fits in both my Ram and outback cup holders. My only gripe is the lid shape looks funny but functions great. I have not had leaks, however I put a straw in mine most times. I wish there was a straw lid. Great value
