   Definitely made of a cheaper plastic feel for the top lid unlike blender bottle. I’ve dropped a bottle a few times and almost every time the lid as popped open not had that issue with blender bottle. The price for these bad boys is spot on and I think they are a good alternative to blender bottle for sure. Id buy again.

   These shakers work great for my large protein shakes and mix everything smoothly. The metal ball does a fantastic job, so I’m not sure what the extra strainer is for – it seems unnecessary since the ball does the job well. But overall, these shakers are sturdy, easy to use, and perfect for what I need.

   I’ve been using them daily, and I’ll be ordering more because I don’t run my dishwasher often enough to keep up with my current ones! Having extras will definitely help with that.

   Pros:
   Great size (28oz) for large protein shakes
   The metal ball works well for mixing
   BPA-free and durable design
   Convenient handle for on-the-go use

   Cons:
   The extra strainer is a bit unnecessary since the ball works fine on its own

   Overall, I highly recommend these shaker bottles. They’re simple, effective, and perfect for protein shakes or any drinks that need a good mix!

   I use it to have Soylent(tm) instant meal. I put the powder in and some water, and shake it like heck, and there’s my breakfast, lunch, or dinner, so I can drink it up and get back to work without all the fuss of cooking and cleaning and eating. This frees up a lot of time for me to write more Amazon reviews!

   These have lasted through hundreds of uses over the past few years, and what makes this strategy better than almost all other containers is that there have been zero incidents – ok, maybe one where I didn’t close it enough – where my drink goes flying all over the room or the car …

   I found one of the lids started to leak water out of the top, and that was not good, so I stopped using that lid, and now I have five lids left & going strong.

   The lid closes quite securely, and that’s wonderful.

   A drawback of my method is that I have to remember to clean it. The meal drink starts to get pungent if I forget to clean it. This has nothing to do with the product except that I can say the pungent smell is completely removed if I run the Hydracup and the lid through the dishwasher cycle.

   I purchased these bottles after years of using Blender Bottles that cost double of these shaker bottles, and not being 100% satisfied with them. Blender Bottles are hard to clean by hand and water lays in the bottom of them when put in the dishwasher upside down due to the beveled bottom design, and the lids have a tendency to work themselves loose after a shake is made causing them to leak. Most of all they do a mediocre job at actually blending protein shakes. After reading the reviews here on Amazon I decided to give these shaker bottles a try. They are AWESOME! They are easy to clean by hand, clean and dry well in the dishwasher, don’t leak, lids stays tight, and mix protein shakes better than any other shaker bottle I have ever owned. I attribute their superb mixing ability to the mini barbell shaped wire whisk mixer that comes with each shaker bottle. These wire whisks are larger and heavier than any wire whisk I’ve ever seen in a shaker bottle. They absolutely pulverize protein powder when mixing a shake in them. These are hands down the best shaker bottles I’ve ever used. Don’t let the reasonable price of these bottles trick you into thinking they are cheaply made. They are high quality and perform as good, and better in most areas, than any shaker bottle on the market. If you are in the market for shaker bottles these are the ones you want to buy.

   Absolutely the best shaker bottle. It has a part that keeps the ice from coming out the mouth piece too! The colors are also a plus and the shaker piece mixes everything well!

   I bought these after the last one I had broke. When I initially received them they seemed fancy. My other shaker didn’t have a wire ball or a loop to carry it. First of all I immediately noticed how well the dual (wire ball & plastic grid) broke up the protein powder. No more gross clumps! Second, I will forever use a shaker with a ‘finger loop’ to carry it. In the mornings I carry a lot of stuff to the car and the loop frees up some carrying room. It has never leaked, easy to clean. Great quality for the price! I will buy this over and over if I lose one or its ‘borrowed’ by my kids and never returned.

   I really like these. You don’t get your face smashed against the drinking area. They don’t leak.
   Very easy to clean.

    Doesn’t smell like chemicals at all which is good because they do list that it is bpa free etc

    Run them in dishwasher and still comes out the same

    Lid closes tight and no leaks however it’s easy to open the flip lid (some bottles are very hard to open)
