   I was really surprised to have issues with these capsules because I have absolutely never had an issue swallowing meds before. I take 3 citrucel caplets, a big multivitamin, and a big iron tablet all together in one fell swoop every day without issue. The citrucel in particular are larger and chalky but still, no issues.

   However, these 3 capsules get stuck in my throat every single day. There isn’t enough water in the world to get them down. I have to wait and take them only when I’m in the middle of a meal so that I can be sure the food pushes them down. Even then, it’s like they get stuck at some point in my lower esophagus and it’s painful as the food moves them down forcefully. I’ve tried taking them separately to see if perhaps they just get stuck to each other, but that didn’t make a difference. I’ll be moving on to try a different brand of collagen capsules once I finish with my current container of these.

   On a positive note, I can say that after 2 containers of these collagen capsules, the collagen itself does appear to be a good quality and I do see improvements in nail strength, plus less damage to my hair.

   UPDATE 11/28/2024

   I’ve been taking this supplement for over 6 months and less scalp shows through my part. My fingernails don’t bend when I trim them; they clip off as they should. I think this is a great product for my needs. I would also note that I’ve been vegetarian, and trending towards vegan, for years. So maybe this product works for me because I had a nutritional deficit. Hate to compromise my planet-friendly values but hate worse turning into an uggo. So sue me.

   My hair had been falling out in bunches and suddenly my scalp was showing through. 90% of my waking thoughts were about female pattern baldness, and yeesh, makes you feel so washed up.and miserable. So in desperation I decided to start taking collagen. A pharmaceutical scientist I know tells me that most supplements pass right through you and are a total waste of money. So, I was skeptical, but desperate. (what a horrible place to be, btw). I didn’t really have any hopes that this would do anything. You look at yourself every day in the mirror and don’t see the change right away. But several of my colleagues have been marveling that my hair looks thick and luxuriant. Yess! I’ll take it! I look again and I have more hair, and the diameter of the shafts are definitely thicker. I haven’t added any other supplements or used any different hair care products so it has to be this. My nails are also significantly stronger. Grateful for this product. I’m almost through the first jar and will be ordering another.

   I loved this product so much! No smell, almost no taste at all, and my lower back pain dissapear 😀 Of course I also started stretching more often and getting masagges.

   I like this collagen blend. This is my 3rd order and the formula hasn’t changed. It has all five types of collagen, vitamin C, and hyaluronic acid. My skin has seen much improvement.

   I went from two tabs per day to one because I’m very oily and collagen increases sebum. My skin’s shine increased but its clarity & elasticity improved while using this.
