   This unflavored Grass-Fed Hydrolyzed Bovine Collagen by Gainful arrived in a plastic, solid black jar with tamper proof seal, included a plastic scoop and had an expiration date of 4/25. The jar contains 4.9 oz and provides approximately 14 servings of 10g collagen per serving. Note–This blend is also formulated with 50mg of Vitamin C (as Ascorbic Acid), 50mg of Calcium and 10mg of Sodium per serving.

   I added one scoop to my morning coffee and it blended very well, but interestingly, if I added coffee to the cup with the collagen already in the cup, it was difficult to stir and blend thoroughly. There was truly no taste or smell detected when added and mixed to my hot black coffee.

   I feel like 14 servings really wasn’t enough to fully assess whether this was beneficial to my tissues/joints or not, however, I didn’t experience any notable side effects while consuming this product. At the price of $22 at the time of this review, I’m not willing to purchase a second jar either.

   This seems to be a very good quality collagen, it dissolves easily, does not have any taste or aftertaste to affect my beverage, and the nutrition information checks off all of the boxes I’ve normally look for. Unfortunately this product costs about four times as much as my regular brand which has all of the same values but at a more reasonable price. This is a very small container, with only 14 servings. So as much as I feel like it’s a quality collagen, it’s not something I could purchase on a regular basis.

   This collagen powder is top-notch in terms of quality. It dissolves instantly in my coffee without leaving any lumps or clumps, which is a big plus for me. The powder is tasteless, so it doesn’t alter the flavor of my drink, making it very easy to incorporate into my daily routine.

   The packaging was secure, and all safety seals were intact upon arrival. The fine texture of the powder is impressive, and it mixes well in both hot and cold liquids. I appreciate the added vitamin C for its additional health benefits. However, the small container size—only 14 servings—feels a bit expensive for the price.

   Despite the cost, the product performs exceptionally well. It’s a grass-fed collagen, which I prefer for its higher quality. While it’s a bit on the pricey side, if you’re looking for a premium collagen powder that mixes effortlessly and has no taste, this is a great option. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the product and would recommend it to others who don’t mind spending a bit more for superior quality.

   . . .BUT the quality is really nice!

   That’s why the 4 stars as it is a nice quality Grass Fed Collagen. I am not sure if there is a difference in what this grass fed collagen will do for your body vs a regular hydrolyzed bovine collagen. I know grass fed cows are grown in a stricter fashion which I know leads to better flavor in the meat as there is HUGE difference in the flavor and texture of the regular steak vs Grass Fed Steaks. BUT for the collagen? There doesn’t seem to be any research on the quality difference on this yet.

   Per scoop, this is only 10g of collagen whereas the collagen that I am taking now is providing 20g of collagen per 4 scoops. BUT the scoop for the Gainful one is bigger than the scoop that I am using now as well. So volume wise, it’s about the same.

   This one dissolved as easily into my coffee as my current one. So there was no difference on that. Flavor wise, I could not tell a difference either. Time will tell if this will work better than my current collagen but as this one only last 14 days OR if I take it to get 20g of collagen, 7 days.

   I feel like this is not enough to actually test this as since I already taken a days worth, so now I only 6 days left on it.

   So that’s why I could not give it a full 5 stars as it is just too expensive for the quantity that you get.

   Taste perfect, and I could swear I look better and feel better after drinking it. I think that’s good enough for me, honestly.

   I’ve had a great improvement in the strength of my nails since consistently adding collagen to my diet. I’m unsure if it’s helped my skin. This one dissolves well and the quality seems very good, but I’m not sure the value is there for a two week supply.
