   This really did not help much with my itching. The product was also a bit watery, but the cream itself is hard. I’m thinking the product I got was a bit old.

   I was pretty ticked when the tube size dropped to 4 oz (from 8 oz). And the price stayed within a dollar of its original price. If you’re accustomed to buying this however, you’ve also noticed it’s changed by adding a pretty intense amount of healing properties. It’s the purple word written across the front of the white tube. (You can feel a very (to me) comfortable warming sensation.)

   (I do NOT, however, recommend using this on a baby—it registers as a hot feeling very similar to Ben Gay or Menthol—I think most people can relate to one of those and in my opinion a baby would definitely cry about it. One additional problem for some, even though I am the one with sensitive skin, my caregiver turned out to be allergic to it—gave her a rash.)

   I have very sensitive skin so at first I was alarmed, but I have been using TriDerma products for years and they have never failed me. So, I relaxed and put my faith in the knowledge TriDerma products have always shown for everything “skin-related” in comparison to other brands. (And I have tried them all for every ailment.) I’m still ticked about the drastic price increase but it happened just about the time the price of gasoline shot through the roof and so I imagine petroleum = petroleum no matter what product you use it in (please, I’m not a chemist and have no desire to become one so if I’m wrong just let me take comfort in my ignorance) so “such is life.” I do know this: if you will shop both Walmart and Amazon, comparing the costs each time you need to re-stock, you’ll find a sale at one of the stores oferring a two-pack for the price of one tube.

   I just split my screen and peruse all of the available sales on this item and one of them will pop up. Hope I’m not shooting myself in the foot here and ruining my next purchase price but we do have to look out for one another, eh? Especially if we’re one of the unlucky ones who have to spend an unlucky part of our lives exposed to wetness. My best dry wishes to you all . . .

   I like the menthol and calamine in it very much but I would like it to be more of a barrier cream than it is. But it is definitely a great cream for soothing and does help with healing.

   It was so thick that it was impossible to squeeze it out of the tube. Might be old

   I did not realize it had menthol until after I applied it, talk about a rude awakening.
