   Have been using the product for several years and it has sustained my Vit D levels in the mid to upper range, which is where I want to be. However, after receiving my latest bottle, a re-order, I note that the Vitamin D quantity has been reduced 20%, from 5000 IU to 4000 IU. Buyers should take note.

   I used to order this for 5000IU at the same price but now it’s 4000IU. The product is superior in its formulation because it’s not using seed oils but olive oil as its carrier oil.

   First, if you are shopping around, let me clarify one point, D3 is cholecalciferol. They mean and are the same thing.. What you want also is Olive oil added for absorption.

   I had taken another D3, at a lower UI, and it made very little difference in my blood level of D3. So I wanted to try a better brand from a company that seems to be on the ball with making good products while at a higher potency. What I wanted was a Made in the USA product, and from a company that actually thought about what they were making. Having Olive Oil in it is very important (my other brand did not) . The softgels are small and easy to follow, and 5000 UI seems about the perfect level for me to take based on all that I read and studied. When not in the sun, I do not feel right, and never realized it was because of lack of vitamin D. Taking this now, I think I do feel a lot better, like when I got some sun. However the big reason I take D (as D3) is because of all the research on how D, or lack of D, is involved with many diseases. Amazingly, doctors do not put 2 and 2 together with other lab reports. With this company, which I buy other products from, I feel I getting the best D3 out there. One softgel is 5000ui and there are 360 in the bottle, so one bottle is basically a years worth. In closing let me point out the if you are going to take D, it should be as D3, and from a company you can actually trust to make the product as it supposed to be. Check out the vitamindcouncil on D. Not that I believe everything I read (I check whom is giving the info and if they have anything to gain from it) , I suggest reading about D at their web site before taking it to see if it safe for you. Look into K2 too, something I would always take with D3. I am not in a hurry to get another blood test so I do not have any results, but when I do I will edit this review. I have also decided to get all my supplements from AMAZON, it just is easier to choose a product and I get them fast for free with Prime, or in many case free shipping from a company selling on AMAZON. I have bought from at least four different sources in the past and buying here just makes my life simpler, and I save money in the long run.

   Easy to swallow, Give it a week before you can see a difference I honestly felt weak waking up in the mornings and my joints were bothering me day in and out. My pain is minimal today, will buy it again.
